Description
After 20 years traveling the world, I came home to settle in Zimbabwe. It's beautiful here...
Apart from certain challenges of living in the 3rd world, it is absolutely wonderful and I love
I have a beautiful acre plot in Harare's northern suburbs. I live a fairly organic life growing my own fruits and vegetables, composting, vermiculture, aquaponics, raising rabbits and chickens, permaculture and food forest.
It is always great to meet people from around the globe and so from time to time I host volunteers.
I have a business making sweets and jams, and there are always plenty of projects on the go with such a big property. So, whatever your interests and talents are I'm sure we can find something for you to do!
Right now, I am specifically looking for help with building, carpentry, electrical, artists. All talents welcome, let me know what you can do…
There is always painting and other creative projects going on. Gardening, vermiculture…
My ongoing project of learning to landscape and grow plants from seeds and cuttings in my endeavour to create a stunning enchanted garden 😊
Accommodation is included in the Workaway.
Basic vegetarian meals are included in the Workaway. (Mon-Fri)
Cereal for breakfast, soups and salads for lunch and dinners.
*️If you would like the upgraded food package, it will cost $5 per day.
You will be expected to help out 5 hours a day (Mon-Fri).
No meals provided on weekends.
The volunteer room sleeps up to 3 people.
I look forward to meeting you .
Regards
Tanya

She’s a quick learner and goes over and above the call of duty doing far more than is asked of her.
Any host would be lucky to have her and my door is open to have her back anytime.
Thanks Wilma
Happy travels x
P.S. I just finished season 2 of Hart of Dixie! I'm addicted

I stayed with Tanya and Amber for one month in their new house in Harare.
I helped in the house, renovating, cleaning, grauting and making and paking sweets :). And I enjoyed playing with Amber. She is a smart, intelligent and energetic girl, swimming every day in the pool and doing her homeschooling.
It feld like home… read more
