    Description

It is a small piece of land near Burgau, on the beautiful southern coast of the Algarve in Portugal.

The nature here is powerful – wild and at the same time peaceful. The air is often filled with the scent of salt, sunshine, and Mediterranean plants, and the view stretches across gentle yet rugged hills. We especially love the closeness to nature here, the ocean and the feeling of freedom in this place.

The land, formerly used for conventional agriculture, was neglected for a long time – full of waste and affected by pesticides. In recent years, we have cleaned it up and begun to revitalize this small piece of land, planting many trees and caring for them lovingly.

It’s beautiful to see how nature grows, how the trees become stronger, and how biodiversity begins to flourish.

We are Ana and Clea. Friends, mother, daughter and warmhearted people who love working with their hands in the soil. We believe there is anything more meaningful than planting trees and making closeness to nature accessible to people of all ages. As experiential outdoor educators, we repeatedly witness how healing time in nature can be, and our vision is to build a small, sustainable, and experiential outdoor education project.

Much has already been built, planted, and shaped on the Quinta. Now we feel ready to welcome people here. Even though the project is still developing, we would like to do tasks together with helping hands to further develop the infrastructure so that this place can be maintained and brought to life in the long term.

For your well-being and a pleasant shared time, we will take care of you in every case and offer:

Fresh, tasty vegetarian/vegan meals, as well as regular yoga classes for those who want to join.

You will also gain skills from experiential education, such as an introduction to intuitive archery .

We can go on spontaneous trips together whenever we feel like it.

As Portuguese we can help you learn the language and to get to know the cultur.

Besides our time together, there will be plenty of time to explore the Quinta and the surrounding area.

The nearby location of Burgau gives access to the Fisherman’s Trail, small cafés, restaurants, as well as a supermarket and a lovely bakery. The area offers many possibilities for beaches, surfing, hiking, and climbing.

The charming town of Lagos, with its beaches and cultural offerings, is also easily reachable.

We are always happy to learn from other cultures as well and to exchange knowledge about gardening and crafts.
