Description
Hello, I'm Alexandra. Some years ago I inherited this tiny, run down farm, which was first build in 1818. With lots of work and appreciation for the warped building and its surprises my partner Manfred and me made it a home for the both of us and our three cats. the flock of sheep, which was part of the farm when I moved in, became a bit bigger through the past years and we love sharing our place with them, since they are really great animals.
We put all our energy into the preservation of this heritage, since I remember my grandparents living here in a really sparse and modest way until the end of the 1980s.Types of help and learning opportunities

Cultural exchange and learning opportunities
The fram was not part of our life plan. It came to our lifes as an unplaned incident. The best incident ever.
Since we moved in here we've learnd a lot and are still learning each and every day. Every person who is interested in learnig with us is heartly welcome. And we also welcome your wealth of experiences, which you bring with yourself and we enjoy to share some of our experiences with you.Help
The annual cycle is spinning. Every season brings different tasks, that need to be done. And besides them a thousands of DIY-projects in the house, around the house, all over the farm, in the garden and the woods behind the house are still waiting for us. Therefore every helping hand is kindly welcome. Whatever your talents are, whatever you prefer to do, we could use your help in the houshold, with the animals, in the garden, for the haymaking or sheep shearing, the fruit harvest and ... yes, in case you are interested even with the slaughtering and meat processing part of our farm, since the humble nose-to-tail philosophy is a part of our self sufficiency.

Vanlifers welcome! We do have a quite idyllic parking space for you.
All others are welcome in our tiny, but hospitable home, where we can house you as a single or couple in our small guest room upstairs. Bath/Toilet/Kitchen need to be shared with us.
For all the Spa-Fans: we do have a finnish sauna, an outdoor-shower and during summer tiny whirlpool outside our house. What else ...
We are convinced our farm is a very powerful place of its own for every person who is searching for some kind of retreat. You can come here to recharge. For those who want some sportactivities: we are near the Mountain Petzen, where you can hike or mountainbike and also near to some Lakes like Lake Klopein. The River Drau is next to our Village and can be explored by boat or standup paddle-board. There are some cool spots for climbers too in the region.
The small cities of Bleiburg an Völkermarkt offer different cultural highlights arount the year.A little more information
