Description
We are a small eco-friendly community of 3 adults + 1 kid, on a homestead based on self-sufficiency and eco-building.
We are a non-profit organisation, installing our lives as participants in the project and not private property.
I am Cédric, 47, I started building this place from scratch 17 years ago
Here lives also Sarah and 3 daughters, Marguerite and her son, and Pierre
We are working on enlarging our community by meeting new people and building new DIY houses, out of wood, clay and reclaimed materials.

Cultural exchange and learning opportunities
We are in a low-density of population in this area
However, many eco-friendly and alternative projects start all around.
We are at 25min driving from the ocean, and a bicycle path goes all through in the forest (31km)
Many concerts, jam, open mics during summer around the area. We play music at home.
We can share skills around permaculture gardening (which is most of the work time there)
DIY, cob, simple wood carpentry, how to create a selfefficiente community.
Play games together.
We are happy spending time with volunteers, discovering their stories, trip and lifestyles.
Practicing languages is a plus.Help

Taking care of our poultry and get beautiful tasty eggs,
learning beekeeping,
Preparing recipes and preserving for winter, cooking courses,

Van and RV welcome
Volunteers share a nice open building with kitchen, warm shower and compost toilets.
We provide food mostly from the garden, bread, and cheese from the local goat shepherd
It's vegetable-based food diets, plus some diaries. Ok with meat eaters.
We don't have all meals together (mostly midday).
Volunteers will get food for every meal including days off.What else ...
On your time off you can chill at our place, walking around in the forest and discover little streams, go to the beach.
We play music.
We have many bicycles available
The closest village with grocery, pharmacy and all you need is Castets at 6km
There are rare buses to get you to town (Dax) 20km from us
