Description
Join us for a stay in a small rural village in the Tuscan countryside. We're located in the Chianti Senesi area, and our little peace oasis is called Montepescini. My family has been producing wine since the 2000s, and in 2019 we also opened our doors to tourist accommodation. We even have a few cows!
We love the quiet rhythm of life shaped by nature, seasons, and simple pleasures (as wine!). Surrounded by gentle hills and vineyards, our corner of Tuscany offers calm and beauty, but expecially: space to unwind (something we know our guests fall in love with too).
I'm Alice, am the eldest of three siblings. My father, Massimiliano, is the head of the business. We are a small but growing team working around the farm every day. Come and meet us!
We're quite a multicultural team, I listed all the languages that I or my coworkers speak. Unfortunately, I'll not be there all the times (that's why I need your help!!!) but my family and team will. the major communication struggle is that not everybody (my father especially) know english, and you'll need to communicate (in the most basic is fine) Italian.

Cultural exchange and learning opportunities
Hosting Workawayers is, for us, first of all about sharing everyday life. Workawayers will be part of our family-run farm, joining us in daily activities and spending time together during meals, work breaks, and relaxed moments in the countryside.
There are many opportunities to connect with both our family and local community, from sharing home-cooked meals and conversations at the table, to meeting friends, neighbours, and local producers.
We are happy to share our knowledge and heritage of wine production, from vineyard life to wine tastings, as well as insights into Italian rural culture. Workawayers can also practice their Italian language skills in a natural and friendly environment!
By hosting people from different cultures, we hope to learn new perspectives, traditions, and ways of living, improve our language skills, and exchange ideas, stories, and experiences. We believe that these encounters enrich both our guests and our family, creating meaningful connections that often last beyond the stay.

Help
Type of help and requirements
We are looking for a friendly and motivated person to help us with wine tastings and agriturismo hospitality on our family farm.
Main tasks include:
- Assisting with wine tastings at our winery
- Managing wine tasting reservations
- Welcoming guests on arrival days (check-in and registration)
- Assisting guests on departure days (check-out)
No previous experience is required. We are happy to teach everything! What matters most is a passion for wine and a willingness to learn :)
We would prefer a longer stay, but we are also open to stays of one or two months.
Requirements:
- Basic Italian (to communicate with the family and staff)
- Good English (to communicate with international guests)
- Having your own vehicle or at least a driving licence is strongly recommended, as we are located in a small village about 30 minutes by car from Siena, with limited public transport
Compensation will be discussed together in advance, depending on availability, responsibilities, and length of stay, and will be offered in a fair and respectful way.

Accommodation
We'll provide a clean and comfortable private room with private bathroom, ensuring privacy and a quiet space to rest. The accommodation is located within our property and offers a safe and peaceful environment. Workawayers will have access to a kitchen (possibly private), where they can prepare their own meals and feel at home during their stay.
Food arrangements can be discussed and agreed upon together, depending on preferences and routines. We can either do a weekly grocery shopping together and cook independently, or share meals with the family whenever possible.
We are flexible and happy to find the solution that works best for everyone, valuing communication and mutual respect!
What else ...
Our place is in a strategic central location, making it ideal for exploring both Tuscany and Italy as a whole. Being in the heart of Tuscany and in central Italy, it’s easy to reach many destinations. I can't even think about all the quests you could do!
