    Description

We are a family living in an ancient watermill in the countryside of the "Fläming", about 80 km from Berlin and Leipzig, 40 km from Potsdam and Dessau. We have 4 children - the older ones are already moved out and stay only once in a while at our house. Our youngsters are born in 2011 and 2014, there is a lively and huge - but very friendly dog, a three-legged-old-cat and some birds living with us in the more than 200 years old farmhouse.

We are Martin & Meike, System-Operator and Graphic-Designer, both working remote in home office and around for help and advice, if wanted. We speak English and French, a little Italian y un poco español ;P

Since there are a lot of very different things to do around the watermill and in the garden, but also in the house or with the kids, we will find - whatever your preferences are - things you like to do. If you are a creative person, Meike has always some art projects on hold, you might be interested to join. People who are able to use a welder are very welcome.

You will have the whole attic for yourself. There is a nicely renovated sleeping/living room with double bed, sofa, desk with computer and shelves and a separate entrance. A small tea-kitchen, with fridge, water boiler, coffee-maker and table to eat is ready for you, but feel free to come downstairs to join us for cooking in the big kitchen and having dinner all together. Upstairs there is also a toilet exclusively for you. A bathroom with bathing tub and washing machine is downstairs - for your almost-private-use - we use this bathroom only to wash our laundry.

We have bikes you can use, and the train station is only 10 minutes away, so you won't need a car/driving licence to visit the charming city of Bad Belzig (12 minutes via bike) or, by train, the cities of Potsdam, Berlin, Leipzig or Dessau. Our mill is surrounded by nature, if you like hiking, walking or running (on sandy ground) you'll love it.

It would be wonderful to share my office/studio with others. If the weather is nice, we have some lovely working-spots in the garden. Printer/Scanner and a professional system-operator is also available.
