Description
My Family and I have a big family operated Ranch. The has recently expanded with two additional ranches, and We live in a very rural small town in the west central interior of British Columbia. We have 200 head of cattle and will also be expanding that number within the next few months.
In October our Mother passed away, it was her and our dad Dave out here ranching. They were in the middle of buying the two other ranches. When we lost her it was very sudden and tragic. My sister and I moved our family's here right away and we are still in the middle of figuring it all out.
My Parents have had many work away's in the past but with mother passing I now had to make a new profile. Our work away's almost always turn into family and come back for visits/ we travel to go visit them! We have a big beautiful FUN family.
Our Ranches are very peaceful and quiet. Here you will experience Western Canada with so much open and wildlife filled spaces. Our Cattle range has many many acres to explore with beautiful lakes, rivers and creeks.
We are looking for help in care of our kids, smaller animals, small tasks around the house and occasionally house-sitting. We have Chickens, cats, dogs, goats, horses, cows and Bulls. We have two beautiful kids, Girl age 3 and Boy is 4! Both are incredibly smart and well behaved.
We have a guest cabin available for accommodations. There is access to vehicles with plenty of opportunity's to take trips around The Chilcotin. Experience here the Chilco Lake, The Fraser River, Farewell Canyon and so much more! You can check it all out on google! We really look forward to hearing from you and showing you our world! Ranch work is hard, but the lessons and life long friends you make is nothing you've ever seen or experienced before!

Cultural exchange and learning opportunities
Your experience here will be of a practical ranching with a very different lifestyle from urban homes and small acreage farms. Our days are very flexible working with the weather makes decisions on what we do for the day. It is very peaceful and quiet here, nighttime star gazing is out of this world.

Help
We would like some help taking care of our beautiful kids while we are working on the ranch, help with general projects for our home and pets. Taking care of our home and pets while we are away, keeping household, cooking, cleaning, painting, tiding yard and fences. Also and the hardest job.... playing with 5 dogs, 2 goats, 2 sheep and horses!
