  Description

  We live in southern Sweden in Dalsland near Mellerud on a peninsula. We are Jojo, Claudia, Anton (12) and Peter (10). Our projects are:
  Insulation of a garden hut Installation of a window in the winter garden
  Construction of a chicken coop
  Restoration of an old sailing boat with a steel hull and wooden structure
  We offer either a guest room directly in our house for 2 people, in summer there is space for 4 people in the garden hut, after which Insulation even in colder temperatures. We also have a second house about 15 km away, where the sailing boat is also. This house has 2 bedrooms, kitchen, dining room and living room, as well as a fully equipped outbuilding with another 4 sleeping places. This would also be useful for a large family. We are a very musical family and have many instruments (piano, violins, violas, cello, accordion, guitar, clarinet, horn), which can also be used, for example, for music sessions together. We speak English, a little bit of Swedish and German.
  
  Wir leben in Südschweden im Dalsland bei Mellerud auf einer Halbinsel. Wir, das sind Jojo, Claudia, Anton (12) und Peter (10). Unsere Projekte sind:
  Isolation einer Gartenhütte
  Einbau eines Fensters in den Wintergarten
  Bau eines Hühnergeheges
  Restauration eines alten Segelbootes mit Stahlrumpf und Holzaufbau
  Wir bieten entweder ein Gästezimmer direkt in unserem Haus für 2 Personen, im Sommer ist Patz für 4 Personen in der Gartenhütte, nach der Isolation auch bei kälteren Temperaturen.
  Außerdem haben wir circa 15 km entfernt noch ein 2. Haus, bei dem auch das Segelboot steht. Dieses Haus hat 2 Schlafzimmer, Küche, Esszimmer und Wohnzimmer, sowie ein voll ausgestattetes Nebengebäude mit weiteren 4 Schlafplätzen. Dies wäre also auch für eine Großfamilie gut nutzbar.
  Wir sind eine sehr musikalische Familie und haben sehr viele Instrumente (Klavier, Geigen, Bratschen, Cello, Akkordeon, Gitarre, Klarinette, Horn), die auch gerne z.B. für gemeinsame Musiksessions genutzt werden können.
  Wir sprechen Englisch, ein bisschen schwedisch und deutsch.

  If someone is interested in classical music, there is a lot on offer here, otherwise we are an open family and look forward to any kind of exchange. For the restoration of the sailing boat, I hope of course someone who has experience with it. Otherwise, I also have a boat builder here who can give instructions.
  
  Wenn jemand Interesse an klassischer Musik hat, dem wird hier sehr viel geboten, ansonsten sind wir eine offene Familie und freuen uns über jede Art von Austausch.
  Für die Restauration des Segelbootes erhoffe ich natürlich jemanden der damit Erfahrung hat. Ansonsten habe ich hier auch einen Bootsbauer, der Anleitung geben kann.

  Accommodation

  In our house there is a guest room for 2 people, in the garden there is a hut with 4 beds, which has yet to be insulated for colder temperatures. If someone lives here with us, they can of course eat with us. We always cook fresh, mostly vegetarian, but sometimes also meat or fish. If someone lives in the house 15 km away, they would at least have to take care of their own breakfast and dinner. If only the person who works lives there, we will of course pay for the food, if a whole family lives there, this would have to be discussed again on a case-by-case basis.
  
  In unserem Haus gibt es ein Gästezimmer für 2 Personen, im Garten eine Hütte mit 4 Schlafplätzen, die jedoch erst noch isoliert werden muss für kältere Temperaturen. Wohnt jemand hier bei uns kann er natürlich mit uns essen. Wir kochen immer frisch, vorwiegend vegetarisch, manchmal aber auch Fleisch oder Fisch.
  Wenn jemand im 15 km entfernten Haus wohnt, müsste er sich selbst zumindest um Frühstück und Abendessen kümmern. Wohnt nur die Person, die arbeitet dort, zahlen wir natürlich das Essen, wohnt eine ganze Familie dort, müsste man das im Einzelfall noch mal besprechen.

  What else ...

  There are many lakes in our region and you can paddle, sail and swim wonderfully. From our house it is a 3 minute walk to the bathing area, from the other house 10 minutes by bike. We live in a nature reserve, surrounded by forest and small hills, where you can also hike. The nearest town with all shopping facilities, indoor pool, library, etc. is 17 km away (can only be reached by car or buses that run rarely), Gothenburg is 160 km away (1 hour by train from Mellerud).
  
  
  In unserer Region gibt es sehr viele Seen und man kann wunderbar paddeln, segeln und baden. Von unserem Haus sind es 3 Minuten zu Fuß zur Badestelle, von dem anderen Haus 10 Minuten mit dem Fahrrad. Wir wohnen in einem Naturschutzgebiet, umgeben von Wald und kleinen Hügeln in dem man auch schön wandern kann,
  Die nächste Stadt mit allen Einkaufsmöglichkeiten, Hallenbad, Bibliothek, etc. ist 17 km entfernt (nur mit dem Auto oder selten fahrenden Busen zu erreichen), Göteborg ist 160 km entfernt (mit dem Zug ab Mellerud in einer Stunde zu erreichen).
