    Description

Hi guys! After a few years away, I am returning to this property and organizing a festival which will take place from 22.nd- 25.th of June this year.
Before I continue what I'd need your help for, I would like to tell a few words on the festival itself.
Regenerative Culture Festival helps spread a new wave of awareness about the importance of complete regeneration of society, economy, access to land and food, basic settings of life and community.
We do this through music, dance, lectures and practical workshops.
The goal of the festival is to encourage people to return to themselves, to nature and to community. Our vision is to revitalize the village of Gornja Šumetlica and the surrounding areas by attracting new people and mobilizing the vast locally available natural resources.

The site will be open for workawayers from 29.th of May onwards.
We'll work on building several compost toilets, a stage, creating decor, preparing the camping ground, festival kitchen, cleaning and similar stuff. We will have to go to forest to cut and collect wood. Taking some stones from river etc.

For accomodation I only can offer a place for a tent or your camping vehicle as well as three meals per day. Mostly vegeterian, sometimes some grilled meat or some traditional Croatian meet dish.

Looking forward to see you guys there soon.

  • What else ...

    What else ...

The most precious thing this little remote village offers is the quiet peace, natural beauty, endless hikes and the freshest air and live water anywhere. There is a river to swim in and lots of space to take time alone, and, our festival volunteers will join us shortly, so there will be a large community to share music, stories and experiences with.
