Hi everyone! My name is Desi, and I'm a single mom of two boys who are now living on their own. I work for a non-profit organization focused on educating teenagers through international school exchanges.

I’m excited to share that my city is nestled among some of the most famous tourist spots, like Florence, Siena, and San Gimignano, all just a short drive away—under an hour! People from all over the world flock to Tuscany for its incredible art, delicious food, and fantastic wine. Plus, the historic Via Francigena, often traveled by pilgrims, is just a stone's throw from my home. In my work, I interact daily with colleagues from 62 different countries, and I truly believe that the more the youngs are immersed in a multicultural environment, the brighter their future will be. Isn’t that wonderful?

Help
My house is dated about 400 years and always seems to need a little maintenance—like painting the walls, repainting the windows, cleaning the garden, and chopping wood.

I'm pleased to offer you a cozy double room with exclusive access to a bathroom. You'll also have the use of the kitchen and common areas. Just a heads up, I don’t have air conditioning, and the heating is wood-based during the winter. However, the temperature is never a problem in any season!
What else ...
You can take a lovely walk straight from my house to the vineyards and olive groves, where you might encounter friendly deer, hares, or even some sociable wild boars. If you prefer, it’s just a short stroll to the village, where you’ll find all the necessary services and quick connections to the surrounding areas. Just a quick note: smoking is absolutely not allowed inside the house, and I’m sorry, but I can’t accommodate pets due to my children’s severe allergies.
