We are also engaged in agricultue such as , cocoa, bananas, avocado, papaya, sugar cane, coffe and others.

The Santa Rosa de Chivis vilage is 20 minutes from the city Puerto Bermudez.

The village is surrounded by two rivers at 5 minute walk, with cristaline waters taht comes from the natural reserve of the jungle. In the water You can see very clearly the fishes and at two hours of walk from the comunity deep into the jungle we can visit a wonderful lake with a waterfall called La laguna Mono, for whom the local people have a lot of respect.
You can observe calmly birds, such as parrots of different colors, aquila, butterflies in varieties like sacred lily and rock cockerel who lives near the waterfall, wich we can visit at the end of the week and also we can stop by Pichis river where we can camp and fish or swimming.
If you want to taste exotic fruits, all you have to do is to pick them up.

How you get here in Pichanaki:
Very easy - you take a bus from Lima (from La Victoria- 28 de Julio) , directly to Puerto Bermudez by bus with Lobato Company. (tell the driver you want to get off a Santa Rosa de Chivis, 20' before Puerto Bermudez). You take the bus in the night and in the morning you will be here, it s like 15 -16 hours in the bus.

Another way to reach our community you can make it with a little break: A bus from the same station (La Victoria) to Provincia de Chanchamayo, Lamerced city - 8 hours (there are many bus companies that operates this road). You can eat, rest a little here and then you need to take an offroard jeep through the jungle 5 hours to Santa Rosa.

We live together with volunteers. We specialize in different activities: Luidy as a local guide and a specialist in sports with a lot of adrenaline
Maria and her husband has a lot of knowledge on medicinal plants and their children have a great respect for nature and they are very curious to discover and learn from their parents we can also do a course of treatment with medicinal plants.

    ---------------------
