The retirees appreciate help with chores, such as: walking the dogs, cleaning dog poops, driving jobs have become critical, so valid driving license is essential, taking out the trash, help at the supermarket and carrying loads, and other general daily chores .   At this time we are looking for a calm and peaceful exchange and assistance for the retirees and their dogs. The elders are very friendly, and are still active in their retirement, and the sons, grandson, and others are also close to help, however, they are starting to need more and more daily assistance with simple daily chores, so it will be more about helping them in what is needed, and also engaging in pleasant and friendly conversations, during meals, they are both very well travelled and highly educated so that should be easy! The family is especially looking for kind, empathetic, humble, drivers and dog loving people that are willing to help with the daily chores as needed and that are also independent and self sufficient. There are many cultural and leisure activities around sintra, including surfing, horse riding, yoga, visiting castles, buddhist temple of sintra, museums, magical palaces and many other unique places and experiences that you can enjoy around the area of sintra, cascais, lisboa and beyond.

  Help

  We would like help mostly with driving and dog walking and general household chores, driving help includes driving the elders around because they are having a hard time driving on their own. Help walking the rescue dogs which are big , cleaning the dog poo outside, taking out the trash, help going to the supermarket and carrying the groceries and other such tasks as needed.

  There is the surfer's wooden bungalow in the garden area that is independent and has an outdoor bathroom. We offer breakfast, lunch or dinner in the communal kitchen, dining room, or outdoor dining area on the terrace with ocean view.

  With your free time there are quite alot of options both in terms of site seeing and other cultural experiences or outdoor sports. You can use the swimming pool at the compound too. The ocean is right in front of the house so its very easy to go the beaches around here, by foot, or by other forms of transport further away there are so many amazing natural wonders around here. we have the sintra hills which are amazing for hiking, mountain biking, motor cross and rock climbing. horse riding on the beach or in an equestrian center, we have a very ancient equestrian tradition in portugal. there are also many interesting cultural monuments, as sintra is a world heritage site. spectacular castles and palaces, museums and historic cafes to enjoy. cascais, estoril and lisbon are also nearby which also have a wide array of choices from night life to art exhibitions. we have our own banksy museum in lisbon for example.
  The life at the compound is peaceful, however the dogs do need alot of attention, and it has become impossible for them to walk the two bigger dogs at the same time, because he no longer feels strong enough, so help with walking the dogs and caring for them would be a great help. as well as respecting the elders. We would appreciate people who are gentle, empathetic who enjoy assisting others with simplicity and humility, especially the elderly and the dogs in this case. We respect privacy and independence, and appreciate those who respect our privacy also.

  This would need to be discussed case by case but if its a small camper it should be able to fit in the indoor parking area, and if not i think parking in large outdoor parking by the compound should be fine to park in for a short period of time.
