    Description

Hello! I'm Giubia Mantellini, a 37-year-old who has recently made the Tuscan countryside her home, in the little town of Lucignano in the Val di Chiana.
Here, I manage an agritourism nestled in 800 hectares of unspoiled woodlands, rolling fields, infinite olives trees rows and tranquil lakes. This picturesque setting is not just my workplace but my canvas and my dream.

Managing the agritourism fills most of my day, but it's the future projects that truly ignite my passion. My ambitions include preserving the biodiversity of the surrounding woods, reopening old trails to make nature's untouched beauty more accessible. I'm driven by the importance of connecting people with nature and helping them appreciate its value.

As an art lover, I'm particularly keen on connecting with individuals who share my passion for landscape art. This serene, natural setting is a haven for artists, offering a wealth of inspiration for landscape art pieces. It's a place where art and nature can merge, providing a unique and enriching experience.

Additionally, I dream of embarking on a project to plant a variety of flowers, creating a vibrant, year-round floral display wherever nature allows. This would not only enhance the beauty of the landscape but also provide joy and inspiration to everyone who visits. This vision of bringing more color and life to our surroundings is a project close to my heart, and I look forward to sharing this beauty with others.

    Cultural exchange and learning opportunities

This exchange is not just about learning new skills, but about experiencing a different way of life, understanding new perspectives, and forming lasting connections with people and the land.
Workawayers joining me in Lucignano will have a real opportunity for cultural exchange and learning, deeply immersed in the unique aspects of countryside life.

You will experience the authentic Tuscan way of life, from the slow, mindful pace of rural living to the region's deep-rooted traditions. You will learn about local agriculture, the importance of seasonal and fresh foods, and the art of Italian cooking.

If you are interested in languages, this is a perfect opportunity to learn or practice Italian in everyday situations. Engaging with locals, understanding the nuances of the language, and embracing the Italian way of communication are all part of the experience.

Art and History: Given Tuscany's rich artistic and historical heritage, art enthusiasts and history buffs will find themselves surrounded by inspiration. They can learn about the history, explore local historical sites (Siena and Arezzo are super closer). Moreover, your house will be located near by an old Castle.

The spirit of community is strong here, and people will learn the importance of collaboration and shared efforts in rural settings. This involves not just spending time together, but also sharing meals, stories, and experiences, fostering a sense of belonging and mutual understanding.

I'm seeking enthusiastic and nature-loving individuals who are passionate about contributing to a sustainable and artistic environment. If you're someone who loves the outdoors, has a green thumb, or an artistic soul, your skills and passions would be a perfect fit here.

Specifically, I need help with a variety of tasks:

Gardening and Landscaping: If you have experience or a keen interest in gardening, I'd love assistance in planting and creating a year-round floral displays. This involves not only planting flowers but also caring for plants throughout the different seasons.

Trail Maintenance and Biodiversity Projects: Those who enjoy physical outdoor work would be invaluable in helping to maintain and reopen old trails, as well as participating in projects aimed at preserving the local biodiversity.

Artistic Contributions: Artists, especially those who specialize in landscape art, are welcome to contribute their creativity. Whether it's through painting, sculpture, or any other medium, your art could help enhance the natural beauty of the surroundings and inspire visitors.

In return, I offer a unique experience in one of Tuscany's most beautiful regions, an opportunity to connect with nature and history, and the chance to be part of a community that values environmental conservation and artistic expression. I look forward to welcoming those who share these passions and are eager to contribute to this dream.
