Description
Join Us in Creating a Regenerative & Spiritual Retreat in Sardinia 🌿
Hello beautiful souls,
We are in the early stages of creating a regenerative land-based project rooted in nature, spirituality, community, and slow living, located in the countryside of Dolianova, South Sardinia, surrounded by olive trees, Mediterranean landscapes and silence.
Our long-term vision is to create a spiritual and nature-based retreat space, where people can reconnect with themselves, the land and each other.
The project will include:
🌱 a glamping area immersed in nature
🔥 a home restaurant focus on fire experience, with farm-to-table, local and seasonal food from local Sheppards
🧘 spaces for spiritual retreats, yoga, meditation and inner work
🌿 regenerative agriculture, gardens, herbs, bees and animals
🌊 natural water systems, ponds and ecological infrastructures
🤍 a community-oriented environment based on respect, presence and collaboration
At the moment, we are looking for open-hearted, conscious and hands-on people who feel called to help build this vision from the ground up.
✨ What we are looking for
We welcome people who resonate with one or more of the following:
natural building / eco-building
gardening, permaculture, farming
cooking and food preparation
helping with glamping structures and common areas
artistic, creative or manual skills
experience in yoga, meditation, bodywork or spiritual practices (optional but welcome)
people who enjoy simple living, collaboration and shared intention
No perfection is required — presence, responsibility and willingness to contribute are what matter most.
We’ve been a little quiet lately, as life on the land naturally moves in cycles.
Now, as we prepare for a new season, we’re opening our space again to conscious, hands-on volunteers who feel called to live, build and share in nature.
🌱 The Project
We are a small family based land project in the heart of Sardinia, near the village of Dolianova, surrounded by olive trees, hills and deep silence.
This is not a finished eco village.
It is a living, evolving place, built slowly with natural materials, recycled elements and practical creativity.
Our focus is on:
natural building (cob, earth, wood)
upcycling and reusing materials
simple, grounded living
food, fire and shared time
regenerating land and skills together
🔨 What we are working on (seasonal focus)
Depending on the season, activities may include:
natural construction (cob walls, wood structures, pallet reuse)
finishing outdoor bathrooms and shared spaces
olive grove care (pruning, grafting, cleaning)
firewood preparation
compost and grey water systems
garden preparation and food forest planting
creating paths, seating areas and common spaces
Work is physical, practical and meaningful.
We value presence, care and learning, not speed.
👨👦👦 Who we are
We are Francesco, Eros (8) and Isaac (4).
Francesco is a private chef, farmer and passionate natural builder, deeply interested in:
earth construction
recycling and upcycling materials
low impact, hands on solutions
The children grow up close to nature and daily life on the land, so we welcome volunteers who are patient, kind and respectful of children, and comfortable sharing space with a family rhythm.
🛖 Accommodation
Tents with real mattresses and plenty of blankets
Small Campervans are very welcome, especially in winter
Outdoor compost toilets and simple showers
Hot water available, but water and energy are precious resources
This is off-grid living, simple and honest — not luxury glamping (yet).
🍲 Food
Food is an important part of life here.
Francesco loves cooking simple, nourishing meals, mostly vegetarian and seasonal:
our own olive oil
vegetables from the garden or from local market
bread from the wood oven when is possibile
Meals are often shared and part of the experience.
💧 Water & Waste
Drinking water from a natural spring
Well water for washing
Compost toilets
Grey water system connected to soil regeneration
Living here means taking responsibility for resources and being mindful of impact.
🧭 Who we are looking for
We welcome people who:
enjoy physical, hands-on work
are curious about natural building and land-based living
appreciate recycling and creative problem-solving
communicate clearly and respect shared spaces
are comfortable around children
Extra skills always appreciated:
natural building / carpentry
gardening / permaculture
cooking with care
web or visual communication
🌞 Life beyond work
On days off we explore:
wild beaches
caves and ancient nuraghe sites
natural pools and waterfalls
the deep, quiet beauty of Sardinia
If this resonates, write to us and tell us why you feel called to this experience.
We’re happy to answer questions and connect.
Teamwork makes the dream work.
Let’s build something real, together.🌠
