Description
Help us build a self-sustaining island in Kuna Yala, San Blas.
Hi, I’m Max, a young Kuna from the village of Río Azúcar. We want to develop sustainable tourism as an example for other Kuna entrepreneurs and to keep nature as intact as possible. Additionally, we aim to create a center to raise awareness among all residents and visitors of Kuna Yala about the plastic problem and to find creative ways to reuse and recycle.

Help
You can learn and help with:
- Diving and fishing with a harpoon and rope so we can catch food to eat.
- Gathering materials and building cabins, a well, eco-friendly dry toilets, and floating islands using natural materials (bamboo, palm leaves, and local wood) following traditional methods.
- Expanding the permaculture garden as we aim to be self-sustaining and live off the land here.
- Assisting in setting up the recycling center and contributing your creative ideas for plastic processing.
