  Description

  We are a friendly family of 5 plus a bonkers dog. My husband is a film maker and I run a children’s charity. We have three gorgeous boys (9,12,14) and we live in a very old and beautiful house in historic Bath. We like looking out onto the countryside on one side of our house and seeing the city on the other.

  You can experience the wonderful UNESCO heritage city of Bath, attend one of the many language schools, and at home we can talk about film since my husband teaches and makes cinema and TV. We play a lot of sports with the boys - especially basketball and football. Above all, I’d like to think we are friendly and keen to know all about other cultures. We also love learning new languages, especially Italian and Portuguese.

  Help

  We are looking for a young woman to help us for a few hours during the working week in the afternoons, plus ocassional weekend evening babysitting. It would mean doing a few hours cleaning, laundry and cooking each day and occasionally supervising the kids at home while they relax after school, taking them on local outings or walking the dog.

  Accommodation

  You would have your own double room and private bathroom tucked away in its own part of the house. With a TV and Wi-Fi. You would have of course full access to our kitchen and can have a kettle and any other basic cooking equipment you want in your room too. You are warmly welcome to eat with us or cook separately for yourself, as you prefer. I’m afraid we cannot accommodate guests so you would need to see any friends out and about.

  What else ...

  It is a 20 minute walk into the centre of town. Or we live right by the frequent bus. There is masses to do in Bath, including lots of excellent language schools. And the countryside is lovely too. We need someone reliable and with experience of looking after children and a home before.
