We live a short walk away from a vibrant town with lots of amenities, cinema, gym, museums, cultural centre, theatre, library and we are a gateway town to the stunning North West Wild Atlantic Way in Donegal. Breath taking scenery and beaches await to be explored. We have a bike you can borrow and cycle on the bike path into town.

There is so much to do that you will be busy planning your explorations for your time off. We love offering our advice on where to go and what to do and how to get there and if you are happy to tag along with us on days out that will be great too!! If you are interested in ancient Ireland then we will happily share our knowledge with you including stone circles and the folklore, superstitions, herblore and myths of Ireland!

  • What else ...

    What else ...

We have had wonderful experiences with exchanges from all over and we are still in touch and have been to visit some of them over the years! Our most current workaway has bern with us for 10 months!

We like you to have your own space when you want and need it (and vice a versa). We all like to eat dinner as a family and have chats.
We have travelled extensively and love cultural exhanges. We particularly love new vegetarian recipies and love when others cook their local dishes for us!

There is use of a bicycle if you wish to use it to go exploring. There is a bus station a mile away which has buses going all over the country and local services also.

We will also take you to our favourite spots (There are many!!)

Our best hope is that you would get to the end of your cultural experience loving the area as much as we do and feeling inspired and renewed!
