    Description

    Hello lovely workawayers!

I'm Kim and living with my (Portuguese) partner Bruno and 2,5 year old daughter Ivy. We look over the Ria Formosa on a lovely spot in East Algarve.

We have a garden company and during my pregnancy I picked up my old job online again (organising events and booking agency).

We live at a big land with many fruit trees and I created many veggie beds in the past years.
My passion is growing food and flowers, to feed ourselves and other around us. I did permaculture and agroforestry courses and I'm so eager to work more on the land to create food, flowers and herbs in abundance again.

Because of our busy life my veggie garden is at the moment quite messy and really needs attention. I have many many many ideas but just not enough time to get it going. I also want to create space for chickens and maybe some other animals.

In the weekends we love to go away with the van. To visit friends, go dancing (on one of our free parties that are organised by us/and our friends) of just go to the beach and/or stay in nature. If we don't leave with the van we/I go to markets, love to cook, doing sports and/or go for a nice walk somewhere.

I come from the Netherlands and I have been told that we need to be independent but since my years here in Portugal, and since I have my daughter, I realize that it is even more important to live in community. There is a reason that they say 'it takes a village to raise a child'. I get that now. And although I don't ask for a village, it would be so nice to have someone who can help me in the garden, or with my daughter, or with daily tasks.

So, that's why I made my profile here. I would love to meet a girl/woman who is interested in a peaceful life on a beautiful land with lots of potential. We have a caravan in which you can stay but you are also more then welcome in your own van. And spend some time with our little family.

I would love to get in contact with you if you are interested or would like to know a bit more.

Thank you for reading and reaching out and who knows what we can create together!

    Lots of love,
    Kim

A female guest who would like to help me in the garden to let it flourish again and create a part of our daily meal. Or maybe you would be interested in helping me with my daughter and/or daily house tasks!
We can make it as crazy as we want because the garden gives us all the possibilities of growing lots of things and creating projects which we enjoy!
All the tasks are of course things for ourselves and not for any profitable activities!

I guess we prefer no pets. Bút if you are really nice, we can think about it ;-) We have a dog (Thor) ourselves and we have a little girl walking around. So obviously it needs to be a pet that is kind for other dogs and children.
