    Description

We are a family of five living on a gulf island off the coast of Vancouver Island. We have lived here since 2009 and love the quiet rural life.
We have a hobby farm with horses, ponies, a donkey and sheep and goats. We also have cats and dogs.
We live near the ocean and there are many kayaking opportunities.
Our family includes people with disabilities so we are looking for assistance with outdoor tasks.

    Accommodation

We have a separate small cabin with a bed, hot plate (with basic pots/pans) and drinking water. We also have an outdoor shower and outhouse to use, though you may use the facilities indoors as well.
We share the evening meal but otherwise there is food made available. We can also provide access to a separate fridge if desired.
We have a small outdoor hot tub too!
Vegans may not be comfortable as we eat meat and raise our own meat animals
We may be able to accommodate a couple and possibly a small child but the space is very small

    What else ...

There are no public services here so having transportation would be helpful. We can supply a bicycle.
There are two marinas but no public stores other than a basic convenience store. There is no city or village on the island.
We have good wifi and mediocre cellular service. We have electricity and well water.
