Description
We are a young family and business looking for enthusiastic people who, like us, love animals and nature. We live with the four of us (Janneau, 40 years old; Wendy, 33; Emily, 13; and James, 7) and all our animals on a farm located in a Natura 2000 area. It’s a family-run business currently transitioning into a nature-based farm. Would you like to help out on and around the farm?

You’ll join our family dinners a few times a week and can also connect with other farmers in the area or join us for social activities.
Janneau is a woodworking expert, and Wendy has knowledge of gardening. We’ll teach you about Dutch traditions and culture.
We also want our children to get in touch with people from different cultures.Host offers payment in line with the minimum wage

Help
In exchange for free accommodation in our nature cabin (the “Beetle House”) , contribution to food expenses and financial compensation, we’re looking for help with renovating the farm and caring for the animals. We’re currently transforming an old barn into a shop with a workshop space and a few nature cabins. Creative ideas are always welcome! We try to work as much as possible with natural or recycled materials.
We have cows, chickens, ducks, geese, turkeys, and one beagle dog.
In addition, a financial compensation is provided in accordance with the Dutch minimum hourly wage, to be agreed upon in mutual consultation.
