    Description

*looking for a couple or 2 friends that want to visit us in June or July*

We are a group of people living in a former monestry, in the south of the Netherlands (near Nijmegen). It is a living community with around 20 people (1-75 years old) and have our own households, yet share a large garden with vegetable garden, chicken, bees and a lot of fruit trees. Together we run a non-profit organisation to maintain the building and garden, give shelter to people that are in need of a home, host concerts and have a cultural and societal role in the neighbourhood. Some of us are getting a bit older, so it is very nice to have some fresh eyes and strong young(er) bodies to help us out with small or bigger projects. We can host 2 people at the same time.
Every month we have our so-called "chores-day" where we eat, drink, socialize and ofcourse do maintenance work. A lovely day!
We will provide pictures of the large tent in the garden, and your "chillroom" inside soon, as we are still preparing this.

Travellers will be able to help out with their knowlegde and skills, for which we are so grateful! In return you can experience a very peaceful stay within a living community in a former monestry, in a small town surrounded by countryside. A very special way to live which we would like to share with others! You will learn how we co-live yet have our private life, and how we share all the tasks that comes with running a non-profit organisation. Throughout the day and throughout the week you will run into all of us occasionally.
