Description
We’re an intercultural globetrotter family - 2 girls of 9 and 6 years old, a dog and a mum, in love with nature, curious, living in the heart of Tuscan - Italy.
I’m a writer, researcher and cultural counsellor. I would love to welcome a person at our home who loves children, willing to exchange intercultural experiences, able to speak in Portuguese, English, Spanish or Catalan to my girls of 9 and 6 years old. The girls love to interact with different cultures, music and handicraft activities, playing the guitar would be a most. :)
My 9 years old is very curious, loves singing and meeting new people. She's a chatterbox, curious and a voracious reader. My 6 years old is very sweet, loves dancing and meeting new people, sometimes she can be a crybaby but just when she fights with her old sister - siblings issue :P . Both love drawing and playing.
Our family hopes to welcome workawayers who:

We live in a house in a little town in the heart of the Chianti area.
We're mainly vegetarian and pescetarian, but not strictly.
Lately, I’ve been in touch with kundalini yoga, if you know it, I would love to exchange perceptions and to learn more about it and/or meditation.

The Chianti area is a place to be at least once in a lifetime. I'm so in love with the life in the countryside that I decided to grow up my girls here despite I'm alone with them.
The city is well known for its slow lifestyle.
Here is a perfect place for a person who loves to be in nature.
At home, we mainly speak Portuguese and Italian. The girls are born in Florence and they speak mostly Italian but are fluent in Portuguese. The biggest one speaks also quite good Spanish, Catalan and little English. We would love to teach you the languages we know.
If you are looking for a cosy Italian environment, you'll love to be here, the people here are kind, warm and friendly.
Lately, I've been working on a project about Intercultural Communication and would be glad to teach you some tips from my research for you to put into practice. :)
I love cooking, so teach and learn new recipes is part of my love!

Originally I'm from Brazil, and as a single mom where all family lives far away, I need help to make our family-life funnier, warmer and easier. :)
I welcome any help, especially with:
Cooking - at home we eat mainly vegetarian and some fish.
Taking and picking the girls at school and dance school,
Babysitting,
Dog-walking,
Playing with the children in the afternoons/evenings
Housekeeping
Basically we need an extra help to our daily life routine.

Accommodation
We offer a private room and bathroom - mostly used by you - those are on the ground floor, our rooms are upstairs.
The house has 3 rooms, 2 bathrooms, kitchen, living room, garden and terraces.
We offer at least 3 lunches and 5 dinners per week, but of course you can always use the kitchen. :)
What else ...
The house is a distance walk from landscapes, public swimming pool, supermarket, bus stop, public garden... Florence is 35' by car and 50' by bus. If you have drive license you can take our car to drive around the Tuscan.
