La Palma is a beautiful island where nature is a must. Being a local will give me the opportunity to show the volunteer how is the life in a friendly and small village in the south of the island. Workawayers will be always welcome to join or local life with my friends and learn from our culture and traditions.
We need help in many chores, mainly with refreshing and small garden building projects, painting, garden help. Any skills you have will be put to good work.

Double or single room, depends on how many volunteers stay, shared toilet and kitchen. We live in a agricultural area and plenty of fresh seasonal local veggies and fruit will be provided.
La Palma is called the beautiful island for a reason; its diversity, good climate and explosion of nature makes it a little paradise where there are plenty of activities you can do in your time off: La Palma is a paradise for people who likes trekking and enjoy nature. The hostel is located in the main road in Los Canarios, 100 m from the main bus stop and about 15 minutes from the beach with the bus, (1 hour walk through the volcanoes).
There are so many local sights around; Fuencaliente is located in the south of the island, at the end of the Volcanic chain which covers the whole island, where there is more than 10 historic volcanos. From the hostel u can see and walk though some volcanoes and visit the last volcano from Spain erupted in 1971, ending the walk the beach and salt plantations in the very pointy south edge of the island. Helpers are also welcome to join me and my friend on whatever activities we are doing. This is my Couchsurfing Profile where you can read some recomendations.
