Description
Hi! We are three friends living in a small village on the Granada-coast in the south of Spain. We work from home as online teachers and enjoy the comfortable climate and the beautiful nature in the Granada-province with our two German Shorthaired-Pointers. Sigurd (38) is Norwegian, Erik (31) is American and Andrés (38) is Spanish. We live half the year in Spain and half the year in Norway. We also have a profile here looking for volunteers in Haugesund, Norway from start of April to end of September.
Types of help and learning opportunities
Animal Care
Creating/ Cooking family meals
Help around the house
General Maintenance
Cultural exchange and learning opportunities
We speak Spanish and English and one of us work as a Spanish teacher. You will be integrated in Spanish village life and enjoy the relaxed atmosphere as well as the nearby cities like Granada and Málaga. You will spend a lot of time in beautiful nature. We are easy-going and social, usually spending a lot of our free time outside at the beach or in the mountains. In the evenings we like hanging out together on the terrace or watching series.
Help
We are looking for someone that like dogs and outdoor-life and who could help us take the dogs to the hills twice a day and also help out around the house and with daily errands. You need to be able to hike in the mountains and take care of two big dogs (30 kg each). One of the dogs is only one year so she needs training still.

Own bedroom with own bathroom. Other areas shared with hosts. We have two large apartments with nice views. The village is four km from the coast, but there is no public transport. Volunteer can use our car when available. We will of course pick you up in Motril or nearby when you arrive.
What else ...
We offer a large shared terrace with views, a quiet space for working on projects, art or studying. There are many beautiful villages, beaches and mountains nearby. The village is quite remote so it's not a place for urban activities or partying.

I unfortunately had a bad experience with another host before I came to these three hosts, which is why I was really happy that they accepted me as a workawayer directly and at very short notice!
