    Description

We are a family of three: my wife Ana (40), my daughter Valeria (5), and myself. We live on a 5000 square meter plot of land, which we share with a few chickens and goats ;) We would especially appreciate help with language exchange for our daughter. We also have an intermediate to advanced level of English, but we would like a native speaker to share our daily life with us.

  • Cultural exchange and learning opportunities

    Cultural exchange and learning opportunities

We believe that cultural exchange is an important part of the Workaway experience. We want our Workawayers to feel welcome, comfortable, and included as part of our family or team from the moment they arrive. We will share our daily routines, meals, traditions, and local culture with them, while also giving them the opportunity to share their own culture, experiences, language, and ideas with us.

During their stay, we hope to create a friendly and respectful environment where everyone can learn from one another. We will be happy to teach our Workawayers new skills, share our knowledge and experience, and introduce them to our local way of life. Depending on their interests, we can also exchange ideas about food, languages, customs, and different ways of living. We encourage open communication, teamwork, and spending time together, while also respecting everyone's independence and personal space.

We see hosting Workawayers as a two-way learning experience. While they will have the opportunity to develop practical skills, improve their language abilities, discover a new culture, and gain a deeper understanding of everyday life in our community, we also hope to learn from them. We are curious about their backgrounds, traditions, perspectives, and experiences, and we believe that these exchanges can broaden our horizons and create meaningful connections.

Our goal is for every Workawayer to leave feeling that they have been part of something special, with new skills, lasting memories, friendships, and a better understanding of another culture. We hope that the experience will be enriching for everyone involved and that the connections we build will continue long after their stay.

Mostly caring for the little girl, due to the English language issue. But it's great that she enjoys spending some time with vegetables, feeding the chickens, and little else.

We offer a room in our home.

We provide meals throughout the day. You will have meals included in exchange for helping out with our little one—mainly by teaching her English in a fun, engaging way, such as through daily activities and routine tasks. It would also be great if you could help a bit with our small garden, some trees, and the four chickens we have. ;)
