Description
We are a family of four, living on a horse farm close to Laugarvatn (an hour away from Reykjavík). Freyja is a high school teacher but Bjarni is a professional horse trainer and breeder. We have a 12 year old son and a 6 year old daughter. We have a small guesthouse, many horses, a few sheep and one cat.

Cultural exchange and learning opportunities
We are open to join in outdoor activities and visits to nearby attractions. We love visiting local swimming pools and sportshouse and workawayers are welcome to come along.
Workers will enjoy the beautiful environment and there are countless places to visit close by, on the Golden circle. They can borrow a car for short travels. -

Help
We need help with the animals and farm (cleaning the stables and feeding, working on tractor if skilled), maintenance (fences, painting, cleaning), domestic chores and cleaning a small guest house.
Experience with riding would open opportunities for more work with the horses but only for skilled riders.
Payed according to wage agreement for farming: minimum wage of 2.686 kr. pr/hour and withdrawn are 3.179 kr pr/day for food and housing.
Working hours on agreement. We can only guaranty 2-4 hours pr./day but might develop into something more if suitable. -
