    Description

I live in Altea, a beautiful seaside village nestled between the Mediterranean Sea and the mountains. My place is a three-bedroom flat about one block from the beach, restaurants, bars, etc. The historic part of town is beautiful and only a short bike ride away. I have a bicycle which volunteers are welcome to borrow to get around town. For those liking to hike or rock climb will find wonderful nature trails and rock faces to please just about every fitness and experience level. Of course, the beach is a must in the summer. Not far from Altea is Calpe, with its renowned sandy beaches. A 15-minute drive away is Benidorm and Alicante is about 30 minutes. Valencia is about a one-hour drive.

I will interact with volunteers as much as I am able. I enjoy showing them around, cooking meals, go on excursions together (should they want to), and introducing them to friends and family if the occasion presents itself.
WorkAwayers will benefit from experiencing life in Valencia province. They can hear and practice Spanish, enjoy delicious Valencian Paellas (the only real paellas ;), they can see what old souther spanish towns looked like, etc.

    Help

I am especially interested in receiving people who can help me develop a website for my hobby as an artist, do some photo and video editing, and/or promote my art pieces on social media skills.

My art activities are just a hobby, I don't earn money with them.

Me interesa practicar inglés porque tengo una hija casada con un inglés y viven en Cambridge , por lo que voy a menudo y lo necesito también para viajar a otros lugares. Durante algunos años fui profesora de español.

I offer three meals per day. For breakfast I provide the food and each WorkAwayer prepares his/her own breakfast. For lunch (around 2 pm) and for dinner (after 8 pm) I usually prepare a meal. Of course, I would love to host WorkAwayers who are passionate about cooking who can either prepare some meals themselves or join me cooking. I am not a professional chef, but I do strive to provide nutritious, fresh, tasty meals. All prepared with lots of love.

    What else ...

Normally, during the morning, I do my paid work as an accountant and in the afternoons I tend to my hobby as an artist. Depending on what kind of help I need, WorkAwayers can expect to work on previously discussed tasks on their own in the morning, or alongside with me in the afternoons. For those interested in learning about oil painting, I would be happy to discuss techniques, give tips, and discuss my craft to any extent they wish to. I can also help them practice or polish their Spanish language skills.
