[URGENT] LOOKING FOR VOLUNTEERS!
We are, an educational alternative focused on transmitting the importance of values and environmental awareness. We get to do this through experiences of linguistic immersion in English in different stunning locations in Cantabria (Spain).
We are a small but hard working group of people with a common goal that strongly believe in the need for a change. We are very excited to have more people joining the team so, if you fit in the description, be ready to come to Spain!
All our activities are based on education in nature. Our international team of monitors/educators together with our volunteers help our project come to life and together we continue educating for a better world.Types of help and learning opportunities

Cultural exchange and learning opportunities
You have the chance of learning about an alternative education system, one that involves connecting the youth to nature and enjoying the outdoors. Additionally, you would also have the opportunity to learn about sustainable practices and have deep conversations about important topics.
You will be able to enjoy spending time with Spanish kids and hence definitely practicing your Spanish comprehension for sure, although conversations with them need to be in English constantly as we work in English Immersion with them. Our local educators are also bilingual and this would give you the chance to have conversations in Spanish during breaks and learn more about the local culture.Projects involving children
This project could involve children. For more information see our guidelines and tips here.
Help
We are looking for people of various profiles that believe in our project of Environmental Awareness for children. They need to be able to speak fluent English as we work in English Immersion with the children. When the children are not involved (creation of materials, free time with other monitors) we are more than happy for you to practice your Spanish and get immersed in our beautiful culture!
*Preferably above 21 years old*

We are looking for responsible, dynamic and enthusiastic people that are interested in helping with children and eager to learn. Teamwork skills are essential.
We work in English Immersion so this is NOT a great opportunity to learn and practice Spanish, although you will for sure be very exposed to the language by the children that are constantly speaking in Spanish among them, but not with us.
Workawayers suitable to join us will preferably have a background in Teaching, Psychology or Environmental Science/Education related studies to help out in our Immersions or creating sustainable materials to be used in School Workshops and/or at Camping Days.
We look for people that share our values, are nature lovers, open-minded, optimistic and resourceful.
The workaway experience is an open door to work with us. After, volunteers are entitled to apply for a job position (European passports or Working Visa holders) to join our Camps and/or Workshops.Languages spoken

You would stay in a very welcoming co-living space in a beautiful nature rich area called Mompia, with connections to Santander, in the North of Spain. Food and accommodation is provided.
If the stay is to participate at our Immersions (dates above) it could be in similar locations (mainly Youth Hostels or houses of other members of the team) by the area.
Summer:
During the summer we set up a beautiful sustainable camp in tents in the middle of nature for the months of June - July and August. There we use dry toilets and fresh camp showers! =D
Types of meals may include vegetarian and vegan profiles.
Timetables may be flexible and adaptable in case of need (studies or other reasons). What else ...
The summer campsite is in the middle of beautiful mountain areas, so plenty of places to hike and disconnect in nature! Also, you have the option of traveling to nearby beaches such as Laredo, which is one of the many beautiful beaches in the coast of Cantabria. Laredo has good connections to the main city, Santander, where you could also be picked up in case your timing doesn't match the pick up and drop off times from/in Santander.
