Description
I am a retired academics who spend his life working in 40 countries and now building my dream… as a place for me, my family, friends, guests, tourists… we bought the land and started to build this new kind of „Arche Noah“ as I had the idea that this is what will become the living form for the future and that this is the minimum we can do to show this planet our respect. Having own water, electricity and food provides the base of living independently and not relying on tue crazy pricing mechanisms that are coming up more and more. We are not following any religious or political intentions - everyone shall be free to believe in what (s)he assumes to be the best but not trying to influence others in this manner…

We would like to build a community that is mostly self sufficient with own water, electricity, housings, food by respecting the nature and the people.
You can be a part of this important development that will be hopefully multiplied more often, but need to be completed first to proof that the idea is working
Help
We are building an eco village with eco farm since Spring 2023 and try to find people who are interested to join this development. It seems to be not so easy finding people who want to share the work of building such an „Arche Noah“ and live there, too. For us 3 people, it is too much work to be done alone. This is why we offer opportunities for short and longer term volunteers, travellers and similar minded people to stay with us and to support us in this huge undertaking. We di have the following projects:
- building of a permaculture garden foreseen for March 2025 to July 2025
- building of a food forest foreseen for April 2025 to November 2025
- Maintaining yurt gardens
- building a Geodesic Dome (March 2025 to May 2025)
- building a yoga and meditation Pagode (May 2025 to July 2025)
- building 2 tiny wood houses, a music studio and a stage (April 2025 to August 2025)
- Repairing / Renewing the plant irrigation system (May / June 2025)
- building special heating systems for the houses (August 2025 to October 2025)
- constructing and building tiny wood houses on trailers from 2026
- setting live stock like Sheep, donkey, chicken, fish breeding, bee keeping hopefully starting in 2025
- producing own compost / manure started in 2024 but will be modified from April 2025 on
- protecting the plants against insects and diseases on natural ways…
- Producing own organic products, Juices, Jams, Dried Fruits, Wines etc
Currently we do need several hands for the gardening projects and experts for the wood house building (professional carpenters can be financially rewarded) and helpers for various other duties repair and maintenance works, gardening, farming, cooking etc.

Accommodation
Shared Tents and Kyrgyz yurts on the farm shared showers and shared toilets. The kitchen is in a train waggon as well as the toilets and some showers, Fast Starlink Internet on the farm .
What else ...
The nature is fantastic and invites for walks, hikes, biking tours. Thessaloniki is 1 hour away by bus and the first beaches of Chalkidiki can be reached in about 45 minutes drive… we do build a music studio and a stage where people can play music but also other performances like yoga, meditation, belley dance etc

We do have Internet access but in the base camp, but even by using DSL, the bandwidth is not that good as in the cities, the telephone lines in the village are already 60 years old or more... but it works for general purposes quite ok

It depends what kind of pets and to what kind of level they are "dangerous"
