    Description

We are nestled in the countryside just outside Kos Town, and only moments from the ancient Asklepion — the sacred healing sanctuary dedicated to Asklepios, the god of health — our family guesthouse has been a place of rest, creativity, and connection for more than 38 years.
We would love to welcome Workawayers into our family

For us, Workaway is about sharing everyday life, learning from each other and becoming part of the rhythm of our home.
We are a modern, well-traveled Greek family, passionate about our island, its traditions, nature, food, art, and history. We enjoy meeting people from different cultures and sharing our knowledge of Kos — from quiet mountain paths and hidden beaches to local food, villages and ancient sites.
In return, we hope to find people who are curious, kind, responsible, practical, and happy to get involved.
Life here is simple — and that's exactly what we love
Our property is surrounded by around 70 olive trees, fruit-bearing plants, gardens, including animals, chickens, cats, and our little dog.
Some mornings begin with coffee in the garden. Other days might involve helping with the property, working on outdoor creative projects, caring for the garden for example olive harvest or animals, some DIY stuff
Creativity is part of our everyday life 🎨
Anastasia is passionate about art and regularly finds arty crafty projects to make in the business
The apartments have been restored with upcycled furniture, family heirlooms, and objects collected throughout our travels and lives. When you're not helping around the guesthouse, there is a whole island waiting to be explored.
We are looking for Workawayers who:
    enjoy living close to nature
are happy to help with practical everyday tasks
    are responsible, independent, and respectful
enjoy meeting people and sharing experiences
    are comfortable around animals
    appreciate simple living
are interested in Greek culture, food, nature, art, or sustainability
bring a positive attitude and are willing to get involved
Depending on the season and your interests, help may involve gardening, caring for animals, composting, maintenance, painting, cleaning and preparing spaces, helping with outdoor areas, assisting with creative projects, or other practical tasks around the property.
We are happy to share our knowledge and skills with you, and we also love learning from our guests and Workawayers. If you have a particular skill — whether it's carpentry, art, gardening, or something completely different — we'd love to hear about it.
Each apartment has its own private bathroom and fully equipped kitchen.
We also care deeply about the environment. We change linens once a week and encourage conscious use of water and electricity. We believe that sustainable living doesn't have to be complicated — sometimes it simply means being mindful of what we use and appreciating what we have.
This is not a hotel. It is our family home, our workplace, our olive grove, our creative space, and a little piece of Greece that we are happy to share. If you are looking for a Workaway experience where you can meet a Greek family, live close to nature, contribute to something meaningful, explore a beautiful island, we would love to hear from you.

This is a paid work, accordance with the applicable Greek minimum-wage and is offered for every hour worked.

We are proud of our heritage, since we live on the island where the father of medicine, Hippocrates, was born. and just 1.5 km from the ancient ruins of Asklepion where he practiced. The hot springs in Kos and smaller islands with similar interests are worth visiting, for example the island of Nisyros with its volcano.

Renting a motorbike is the best way to explore the island with a big list of stunning beaches and small villages. You can follow goat paths which reach deep into the ravines, with old water mills and water sources which few people know about. interesting for visitors that like to hike in early spring and winter. Not far from us is a long sandy beach. The estate is 50 meters above sea level, overlooking the dense forest of Asklepion, and the valley with farmlands around. Watch the sun rise or the moon rise... taste the food in Platani village with its popular Turkish cuisine, or visit Kos town with many ancient Greek sites, cafes, taverns, etc. we have an extra can we can share with you.
We want our Workaway experience to be a fair and meaningful exchange. This is a paid work, accordance with the applicable Greek minimum-wage and is offered for every hour worked. The exact working terms will be agreed clearly before your arrival.
