Hi, I am Isabella. My husband Robert and I live in a small village close to the border of Hungary and Slovenia. I am retired and right now trying to improve our vegetable garden. \nWe are looking for people who like to share our life and everyday duties for a while.
Help in the house
Our first language is German, so - if you like - you can improve your language skills, you can learn how to make felt or you can experience your skills in the ceramic workshop.
Help needed: in improving the vegetable garden and all kinds of things in and around the house.\nAUTUMN: Work will follow the demands of the season. So in autumn it will mainly be preparing everything for the wintertime.
Depending on season: Tent or Bed - in shared room, if there is more than one workawayer at the time.
we live in a small village, in a lovely countryside. it is important that you like a quiet place, next train station is 3 km away, so are coffee shops and other facilities. There is a bike available, so you can explore the neighborhood yourself but also we will show you around. Next big city - train connection - is Graz, but there are also connections to Vienna and to cities in Hungary. \nOur daily life is easy going but full of different tasks and organized according to weather conditions and workshop duties, therefore the help we ask from workawayers will vary from day to day, and there will be a changing schedule in respect of daily hours, starting times etc. \nWorkawayers will be provided with breakfast and daily meals and also invited to help with cooking. We are omnivores ourselves, but meat is not on our daily menu and can easily be off the menu if we host vegetarians. We try to prepare fresh, healthy food and also will be careful with food intolerances if necessary (we have intolerances ourselves). \nAs for both sides it takes time to get to know each other, we would like to welcome open minded, respectful people who want to share our life for two weeks and if communication between both sides is fine and if there is plenty of work of course you are welcomed to stay longer.
