    Description

We are a registered Animal Welfare Organization established and supported by animal lovers of Coimbatore city in the state of Tamil Nadu, India. Established in April 2006 as a charitable trust deeply committed to animal welfare, since inception, we have been working with the Coimbatore Municipal Corporation for Animal Birth Control/Anti-Rabies Vaccination program at the sterilization centre in Seeranaickenpalayam, Tamil Nadu, India.

We endeavor to actively promote adoption and prevent unwanted breeding through effective implementation of the animal birth control program. We rescue and provide food, shelter and love to stray animals and rehabilitate them appropriately. We also conduct Anti-Rabies Vaccine camps and awareness camps to get the community involved in the prevention of cruelty to animals and help improve the lives of animals in the city. From very humble beginnings of spaying and neutering about 70 dogs a month in 2006, today we border between 250 and 300 street dog sterilizations every month.

We enable rescue and adoption of over 500 animals and also conduct several ARV and Public Awareness Camps every year. We take immense pride in the protection of all animals through advocacy, education and hands-on programs. Our Sanctuary at the outskirts of the city is home to over 50 differently abled animals.

Our Sanctuary is maintained as a farm where animals enjoy nature and the people who care for them live in a pristine environment away from the hustle and bustle of the city. We need volunteers who have a passion for Gardening and Farming to help maintain our plants and trees.

We care for over 150 animals everyday at our shelter in the city as well as sanctuary at the out-skirts and need volunteers who can help care for these animals along with our veterinarians and staff.

We run many events and campaigns for creating awareness on animal welfare and need volunteers who can create good posters, videos and communication in English that highlight our work and inspire more people to contribute their time, effort and funds for the welfare of animals.

We are constantly creating structures that help our animals live comfortably in peace and harmony with nature and looking for volunteers who can assist our staff in building areas that are suitable for training and re-homing abandoned pets.

We create awareness through school and college contact programs and need volunteers who are good at instruction, deliver lectures and presentations on animal welfare in an effective manner.

Our shelter and sanctuary are always requiring maintenance and we welcome volunteers who like to work with their hands in mending fences, creating enclosures, painting etc.
