A happy family stands outdoors: a woman holding a baby, smiling warmly beside a man. Behind them, there are trees, grass, and a modern house.
A cozy bedroom with a green bedspread, rustic corrugated ceiling, large window with curtains, ample sunlight, armchair, plants, animal hide rug, and industrial pendant light.
This bathroom features a glass shower, toilet, ornate mirror, rustic vanity, corrugated metal wall, dark tile floor, pendant light, window, and a purple landscape picture.
This cozy room features a brown leather couch, large windows with garden views, indoor plants, wooden furniture, a tufted bench, black rug, and a wood stove.
A serene pond reflects trees and sky, with a blue barrel floating on calm water. Leafless branches frame the scene under partly cloudy, blue skies.

    Description

We are a young couple in our 30s who have just settled into our dream property with our baby ,3 dogs and a cat.
This dream property comes with bit of work which is a bit hard to juggle with a young baby so need a hand with a few things.
Our place as many projects we want to achieve to make it the most self sufficient and beautiful place to reside.
Already a stunning peaceful place with a large pond surrounded by trees and filled with ducks paddling and splashing around, a beautiful view of the mountian range, peaceful access along the local river for walking the dogs and summer swims.
There's gardening, painting, planting, waterblasting, woodchopping and a lot general maintance and if you love animals plenty of doggy walks to be had
We are a hunter/gatherer pair who source almost all our own meat and do our own butchering and processing. Setting up an expansive vegetable garden is in process and planting endless fruit and nut trees. Both laid back love just pottering on the land or off exploring or hunting. Our wee daughter is nearly 1 so evenings are quiet and chilled.
We love living here because we are close to many mountains and an hours drive from amazing locations like wanaka, queenstown and dunedin. So many cool places to explore and in summer we love hitting the lake with the boat and doing some water sports.
Between us we have a lot of skills and knowledge and we love to share that around.
We hope to show how kiwis live in exchange for seeing how other cultures experience the day to day life. With plenty of local community activities to attend we can fully immerse you in this area!
