Description
I'm in my 40s, recently acquired this small farm and home in the outskirts of Athens. I'm a psychotherapist and my dream is to slowly turn this place into a center where people can come, reconnect with the land and themselves, and heal from the crazy times we live in. I'm generally friendly but appreciate quiet and slow rhythms of life. I live on my own in this small piece of land with olives and also go back and forth into Athens for work. Which means that you might spend a couple of days on your own in the home. At the moment there are various random bits of work to, for example: pruning, digging, preparing the land for planting, maintaining the land and house, etc.
The project is located in a fairly remote area with amazing views of the valley and deep quiet. And it's also very close to Marathonas and Nea Makri and the surrounding hills. There's daily bus connections to Athens and the surrounding area. You're also very close to beautiful beaches and sea, the amazing Schinias forest natural park, and a few different archaelogical sites, such as Ramnounta and the temple of Nemesis. There's taverns in the nearby village and a small store, and everything you might need in the nearby town of Marathonas which is about a 10 minute drive.
