Description
We are a small hostel in Asillah (Morocco) with 6 rooms and capacity for 26 people. We are 3 friends from school who started the hostel in 2014--now it's just me (Kuby) who lives at and manages the property. I have over 5 years' experience working in hostels. I love to be surrounded by people, learning from them, sharing experiences, having fun at the rooftop and cooking food from all over the world.

Cultural exchange and learning opportunities
As a hostel, cultural exchange is a part of our daily life. Our guests and Workawayers come from all over the world, and often share stories, adventures, international meals, and language.
What I can offer you as a Moroccan host is warm hospitality, and the opportunity to learn about Moroccan culture including some basic Darija (Moroccan Arabic).Help
Workawayers will help with reception, and basic cleaning (mostly laundry).
We may also have some other projects like painting a mural for the hostel, garden work, etc.Languages spoken

We have two staff rooms, with two bunk beds each. Depending how many volunteers we have, you may be sharing a room. Food, wifi, laundry and towels are included for volunteers. Our hostel also has many common spaces including a fully equipped kitchen, cozy living room with games and TV, beautiful rooftop terrace, garden plus a FREE EXPRESSION wall in reception to write and draw what you like.
Meals are included, you are invited to cook when you want (we are not vegetarian but we don't eat meat or fish regularly). What else ...
Our town, Asilah, is often described a great place to start exploring Morocco. It is a small beautiful beach town, about half an hour south of Tangier. You can come to relax and enjoy delicious Moroccan food, especially sea food, and explore the country markets. Asilah's beautiful medina is unique because it is covered with ephemeral murals that change every year during Asilah Arts Festival. There are several wonderful beaches nearby, including Paradise Beach. Favorite local activities include walking along the serene beach or surfing in the light of the sunset, and meeting local artists and musicians.

I stayed at kubi's place for one month and It was really good.
I think this hostel is a good place to feel home and work in a good and relaxed atmosphere.
It is also a good starting point to explore Morocco if it s your first time as the cultural shock is not that strong.

She helped us a lot with the maintenance of the hostel, also has experience in hostels so you dont have to tell her anything, she do naturally.

You were very serious about the maintenance of the hostel and you did us a big favor taking care of the the hostel where we were not. You are very kind and very reliable.
