  Description

  We are Florian, my girlfriend Lina and my mum Eva. We speak many languages, are respectful and mindful of people and nature and love our home with its beautiful views and sourrounding to be active or relax right away. We live in two traditional rusticos (Ticino stone houses) on a large property on a south-facing slope 300 metres above the valley near Bellinzona in beautiful Ticino. We will be happy about your help in different areas of the houses and garden - depending on the season and your experience. In the summer, we (Lina and Flo) work for our outdoor sports company, so that keeps us busy.

  We are looking forward to share our experience and enthusiasm for climbing, canyoning, yoga, nature, interpersonal relationships, mindfulness and other areas of life with you and talk about your opportunities to experience Ticino - the italian speaking part of Switzerland.
  We ourselves living non-standard-lives and have different experiences in life. We are always happy to have new input and exchanges. Florian is from Ticino and grew up here, Eva comes from German-speaking Switzerland and has lived here for over 30 years, Lina is from Germany and has felt at home here for 2 years. So we have different impressions and insights into life in Ticino and would like to share them with you. Florian and Lina have always lived very internationally, due to their travelling and their job in the outdoor sector. In summer, 2-3 guides from Spain and other countries also live on the property, so we will welcome you to our friendly international community.

  Help

  We will be happy about helping hands for the garden and houses. The property has a vegetable garden, fruit trees and bushes, natural green areas, dry stone walls, ivy and invasive plants, wooden fences and much more.
  There will be different tasks depending on the period and your skills: including manual work (woodwork, painting, etc.), gardening (pruning, weeding, lawns), shared catering/cooking, cleaning of the house and grounds, carpentry help or stone walls (construction or renovation) - depending on your experience.

  Accommodation

  You will have your own space in a separate small house (2 beds) with your own kitchen, right in the countryside. You can have your meals together with us, depending on the agreement and scope of help.
  A beautiful living area with few neighbours awaits you, directly on the southern slope, surrounded by chestnut forests - here you can start your hikes right away or just enjoy the view into the valley and to mountains. Although it feels up the mountain, it takes only 25 minutes walking or 5 minutes by ebike or car to get to the bus station and shops.

  What else ...

  You can start your hikes right from the front door. As we live in the middle of Ticino, you can easily reach lakes (eg Lago Maggiore), valleys (eg. Verzasca or Maggia Valley), towns (Bellinzona, Ascona, Locarno, Lugano), climbing and bouldering areas or the canyons in the entire region - you just have to overcome the 300-metre difference in altitude from the valley to us on foot, by bike or by car 😉
  Of course, when we live together, we expect friendly and open interaction, just as we do. You should be able to speak one of the following languages fluently: Italian, German, English.

  We only can offer a place outside where there is WiFi for work - beautiful view included but only usable with good wheather.

  Space for parking camper vans

  We can offer a place for a small to medium campervan. Motorhomes are not able to go up the road to our house so well.

  Can possibly accept pets

  Usually we like to welcome also pets - but obviously it´s depending on the pat itself if we would be fine with it. We are open to discuss :-)
