    Description

We have a family farm with large gardens and plenty of animals situated in the heart of the Munster countryside. The house was built in 1739 and stands next to the ruins of a fifteenth century monastery.

Today we have an organic kitchen garden, orchard and free range hens and ducks. We also have pedigree Hereford cattle and keep horses for riding and carriage driving.

    Cultural exchange and learning opportunities

We are situated in the beautiful province of Munster with all of it's history and heritage. Our family farm is only 20 minutes bus journey from a major Irish city for those who wish to explore the markets, festivals, traditional music venues, museums and art galleries on offer in the area. Adare village, the most visited village in Ireland, is only a short distance from the farm. We enjoy sharing the traditional farming skills and lifestyle with visitors and we are committed to the welfare and responsible custodianship of our land and animals and we like to share this ethos with all who come to stay and experience genuine Irish hospitality in our home.
