    Description

Join our communal lifestyle with young people from all over the world, aiming to make arts- and sports oriented skills training accessible for everyone.

We are an entity operating in the area of Kajjansi/Kitende, next to Lake Victoria. Together we strive towards positive social change within our community. We offer a variety of arts and sports-oriented activities free of charge for children from vulnerable backgrounds.

Through our activities and sessions, we aim to build long-lasting bonds with our participants and their guardians. Together we can nurture future change-makers!

    OUR LIFESTYLE:

During your stay, you will live together with us in our dynamic communal space - a four-bedroom house located only 30 minutes from Kampala. The village we stay in has a welcoming atmosphere with many aspiring artists and sports enthusiasts.

In our free time, we love to explore different parts of Uganda, and we go for road trips several times per month. We are like a big family!

    OUR PROJECTS:

Our project we aim to strengthen in our participants are confidence, creativity, communication, collaboration, critical thinking, courage and curiosity. We use sports and arts activities as tools in our work towards social change. Joining us on this journey is an opportunity to explore Sub-Saharan Africa and share your skills with our vibrant community at the same time.

    PRACTICAL INFO:

We offer shared accommodation in a room with two dorm-beds. We provide two meals per day (breakfast + dinner) except on weekends, when the chef is free. We love animals and have three cats and one dog, all staying with us in the house. The hot tap-water is limited but we have free access to harvested water. The house is located in a safe and rural area, but it is very lively with sports-activities taking place every day. In case you want to volunteer with an NGO nearby, such as an animal shelter or educational provider, we can help you with contacts.

We hope you will enjoy your time with us!

I am a Swedish citizen residing in Uganda since a few years back, and I've never regretted my decision! I've made so many friends and some of them I now call family. We are a mixed team of locals and foreigners living side by side, constantly learning from each other and growing together as a unity. We can't wait to share this with more people!

You will never get bored with us.

    WE OFFER:
