    Description

We are a small family (two kids) and live in a renovated villa in the port of Lyttelton, Christchurch. We need some help in the garden to do landscaping and building steps and have a small but cosy cabin to offer as accommodation in exchange.

You'll find us welcoming and fun, we love to host and meet new people. Lyttelton is a brilliant port town with great cafes and restaurants, cool nightlife and nice beaches in walking distance. The house is on the bus route to the City and the airport.

We love to host people and enjoy cooking. We can connect you with the local community and give ideas about travel around the South Island.

We love the outdoors, hiking and camping and can give a lot of tips about locations in the area.

  • Help

    Help

We are looking for people that can help for a week or two in our garden. We are removing weeds and building tracks on the bank.

Ideally we would be looking for people that have experience in horticulture or landscaping. Skills as a builder would also be helpful as we are hoping to build some steps up into the garden. There is also some minor painting to do if people have skills in that area too.

The cabin has sky lights to watch the stars at night and listen to the sounds of the native birds in the garden.
