Description
We are a young educational and cultural project based in Villavicencio, the gateway to the beautiful Eastern Plains of Colombia. Our mission is to create meaningful cultural exchanges through languages, education, creativity, and human connection.
We are building more than just an academy — we want to create a friendly multicultural community where people from different countries can learn from each other, share experiences, and grow together.
We work mainly with English learning programs, cultural activities, conversation clubs, creative projects, and international exchange opportunities for young people and adults. We love meeting travelers who bring positive energy, new ideas, creativity, and a desire to connect with local culture.
As a volunteer, you may help with:

Help
What we are searching for is friendly, open-minded, and active volunteers to join our educational and cultural atmosphere in Villavicencio.
The volunteer work is mainly associated with cultural exchange, being creative, and assisting activities related to English language learning, etc.
Volunteer work could involve:
Conversation with students in English
Assistance in organizing cultural or social events
Being engaged in creative or social-media activities
Organization of games or workshops
Presenting your culture, language, art, music, sport, etc.
Basic administration or promotion tasks when needed
Teaching experience is always preferable, but teaching English is also important. Volunteers should have confidence in interacting with students.
Those, who aren’t native English speakers, must have at least level B2 in order to interact comfortably with students.
The schedule will be about 3 hours a day, 5 days a week. This provides you with a great chance to visit different places of the city, learn Spanish and relax.

Accommodation
What we offer:
* A shared room that is well-ventilated and very comfortable. It is in a property in a rural-urban area surrounded by nature. You can. Get away from the city.
* Areas where you can chill out share your experiences. Meet others.
* A big bathroom that is shared with others.
* A warm and friendly atmosphere, like being part of a family.
Note that we do not provide meals. You will need to buy your food and cook it yourself.
* You will have a kitchen where you can cook comfortably and organize your meals as you like.
* There are supermarkets, local markets and shops nearby where you can easily buy groceries and fresh products at prices.
We think this is good because it gives you the freedom to cook what you want when you want. You can follow your schedule and eat what you like.
Even though we do not provide meals we like to share moments. We have conversations, share tips do social activities or just hang out in our home.
What else ...
When volunteers have some time to themselves they can see a real and local side of Colombia while they are in Villavicencio. This city is surrounded by nature, culture and adventure.
There are a lot of things volunteers can do. Places they can visit such as:
* Visiting rivers and natural pools and waterfalls and mountains that're close by
* Going to local markets and restaurants and cafés and trying traditional Llanos food
* Listening to music and learning about the culture and going out at night
* Practicing Spanish with people who live there in situations
* Taking trips on the weekends to places and small towns that are close by
* Relaxing in nature and getting away from the city
Our place is in a quiet area that is a mix of the city and the country and it is surrounded by green spaces and open areas. This makes it a great place to relax, read, work from home exercise or just enjoy nature.
It is easy to get

* You can also take a motorcycle taxi, which's a common and cheap way to get around
* The city center and the areas where people shop are easy to get to
* We are happy to help volunteers figure out how to get around and give them advice on what to do
We like to make an social atmosphere where volunteers can meet people who live there other travelers and our community. Sometimes we also plan activities or get together to talk or go on outings or have meals together.
This is an experience for travelers who want to:
