Description
Hi, my name is Giovanni, I'm from Catania, I frequent the spiritual and social community located near the city center of Catania, we run different social projects like afterschool for neighbourhoods kids or food distribution. The opportunity is about giving a help to restore an out of business chair factory (600 square meters): cleaning/declutter the spaces, restore old wooden windows, whitewash the wall.
The project is to bring back the productive factory, creating designer products and making vulnerable categories of people such as highly functional disabled people work.
The project also aims to pass on old knowledge to create well-being for the local community in which it is important to give the possibility of sound growth for the young people of the neighborhood.
In the community live young volunteers coming from Estonia, Ucraine, Turkey, Tunisia, Argentina, Italy and other countries.
You can be host in the community, where who wants can be involved in yoga and meditation.
You will eat fresh food we cook everyday from the vegetables market, and yes it's a vegetarian yogic community so it's allowed to bring inside only Sattvic food. So not allowed alcohol, smoke, and other drugs.
