We will eat Ugandan food together every day and the children are also eager to share their songs and poems with the volunteers in our program.

For lovers of youth or future or current teachers, our program brings together the best of service, teaching and learning.

Monday to Thursday, you'll take a long walk or a short motorcycle ride over to work at a local school in our area.

The children at our school have special needs and most use wheelchairs, crutches or walkers. Participants are welcome to audit classrooms during their first 3 days and then create lesson plans in partnership with the teachers per the curriculum.
Reading books to the children is also and important academic activity that improves their verbal English language comprehension.
Artistic, creative activities like drawing, watercolor painting, beaded crafts, origami, and playing traditional Ugandan drums are as enjoyable for the children as for the volunteers.
