We are a multigenerational household, guided by our commitment to the land.
Our home in Castlegar is beautifully situated along the Columbia River with a magnificent uninterrupted view of the river. Our location assures us of peace and calm.
Deeper into the mountains, on our agricultural land (five minute drive from home) we are developing a food forest which is to be interspersed with small off grid structures and dwellings, built with natures' materials. We invite travellers to join us in this quiet idyllic setting. We offer a suite with private bath within our home; and/or, we provide camping and opportunities to stay in our off grid dwellings.
We are a couple; Tanya and Ed, in our early 60's and Antonia, a happy grandmother in her 80's who has memory difficulties whom we hope you will enjoy connecting and assisting her in some activities.

Travellers will elevate and enhance their personal learning and growth from being our guest in this multigenerational household. They can develop their capacity for human connection, and their ability to contribute to a meaningful, and shared experience in our home.
We are connected to other workaway households in the region where we can together network and have collective social events, and collaborate together in a larger permacultural exchange
As a traveller/guest, there are tasks common to all households, including some light housekeeping garden maintenance; meal preparation, and for the interested traveller, an opportunity to become involved in construction using natural materials.
We are looking for travellers to help and receive!
