Description
I have a small guesthouse on a beautiful Caribbean island .
We are part of the Bocas Del Toro archipelego but on a less commercial , more authentic island .
It is a lovely place to stay whether it is as a tourist , volunteer or friend .
I have a handyman who works 2-3 days a week & a cleaner who comes in when needed .

We encourage cultural exchange & you will interact with various members of the community here & there will be learning opportunities & interaction with myself , all are welcome into my house too ! It is a nice chilled place to experience Afro -Caribbean culture & to spend time in a different type of environment .

I’d welcome a workawayer most of the time , Only 3h help in the morning or at times flexible for cleaning help:
- Clean the public spaces: ranchito, kitchen;
- Clean the 2 shared bathrooms, thoroughly once a week & kept clean daily .
- Clean the room when there is a check-out;
- Clean the open-space floor from leaves.
We are chill and feel proud of the place and people who like it.

I had a very good experience staying and volunteering at Simon’s guesthouse. It is a nice little place on a chill and “local” (less touristy) island and there’s a lot of nature around. Simon is a great host and I thoroughly enjoyed my time volunteering at his guesthouse. His guesthouse is on a very peaceful and beautiful island. The work was very reasonable and I had plenty of time to explore Bastimentos. Overall, I throughly enjoyed my stay. I highly recommend Simon!
