Description
During the gorgeous summers of the North (18 hours a day, beautiful wildlife, maybe Northern Lights), I will be developing a permaculture garden to meet a greater proportion of my food needs. I am looking for someone (or a couple) to help me plan and implement the garden. My backyard is about 2,000 square feet, mostly undeveloped, and the soil is naturally very rich, as the home is built on a natural flood plan of the Mighty Peace River (pls see photos).
I am a single person, semi-retired. I drive a school bus and am currently in training to become a home energy auditor. I have a 5 month old golden doodle puppy named Miko.Types of help and learning opportunities

I am hoping the someone with an interest in permaculture will enjoy the opportunity to put their skills to work. The area is very beautiful, with many spots for hiking, camping and boating. I plan to show my guests some of the special places in the area, and take them canoeing if interested. There are also several music festivals and rodeos in the area, if anyone would be interested in attending those. Life in the North is connected to the land, and people are generally friendly and caring towards each other.
Help
I am looking for someone to help me both plan and develop the garden. Currently I have apple and cherry trees, a couple of small oak trees, raspberries and asparagus. I have plans for hazelnut trees, saskatoons, strawberries, and more herbs and vegetables. The area is about 2000 square feet, mostly undeveloped. Work will include clearing and cleaning up some of the bushes already there, and then planning and implementing the garden. I am very open to ideas and suggestions for developing the garden space, to make it productive, beautiful, and ecologically compatible with the area.

You would be sharing a 3-bedroom home with me and my dog. Pls see photos.
What else ...
I have two bicycles you could use, as there is a beautiful path along the river just near my home. Good for walks too, and Miko always is up for anything!!
I would expect you to be clean and respectful of my home, and to share the general housekeeping duties (dishes - sorry no dishwasher!), and a couple of hours of cleaning eachweek.A little more information
