  We are a small family run business, which has been opened for just over 10 years. We are located on the smallest of the Aran Islands, Inis Oirr, which is located off the west coast of Ireland. We are accessible by boat or plane, the boat is 15minutes from Doolin, Co. Clare or from Galway which would be one hour. We are a small family run business and we are looking to welcome someone new so that we can share our culture and this beautiful island but also so we can mix and explore different cultures as well. We provide a wide variety of treatments, to suit our customers needs. We have built our reputable business up to a high standard, achieving 5* reviews over the years. This is due to the excellent customer service we have provided over the years which has resulted in our business being rewarded with continuous repeat customers, which we are so grateful for. We believe it is good for different cultures to mix so that we can learn from each other and this is why we are opening this opportunity to take part in this unique experience.

  We are a fluent Irish and English speaking family and our family have lived in the Aran Islands for generations. We will welcome you into our home and the island has many different cultural and community events throughout the summer. From traditional music events, plays and many more. The island is a beautiful place to live, with beaches, walks and many scenic points all around. Lots of people from different cultures flock to the island to mix and enjoy the many varied festivals such as Craiceann, Drop Everything and many more that takes place during the summer months. The cultural centre on the island, Aras Éanna, provides a wide choice of weekly, cultural entertainment, a lot of which are free to all.

  Help

  We are looking for a Massage Therapist to work in our Island Spa for the busy seasonal summer period. This would preferably be from June - August, however we are flexible on these dates. The role would entail working alongside myself, Annette, to cater for our lovely repeat clients. We are a warm and welcoming establishment and we are hoping to expand our business by inviting someone new to enjoy our hidden gem. We would require the person applying to be properly qualified and certified in Massage Therapies. We hope that the interested candidate would enjoy the encounter with our clients and the treatment they are providing. We want to encourage a positive and friendly environment for all to enjoy, not just our clients but you as well. We encourage a welcoming atmosphere in our spa, therefore we would love to welcome someone who is confident, warm, hard working and passionate. We encourage excellent communication skills in our business which will not only assist the interested person to be involved and take pleasure in their role but will also provide a more relaxing experience for our guests.

  A double room will be provided with en suite bathroom. Meals can be provided if required or the kitchen can be made available at certain times of the day if you would prefer this instead.

  On your days off you can explore our beautiful island, we are minutes away from the beach - if you were a lover of kayaking or sea swimming this is the place for you!! We have some lovely pubs and places to eat on the island. Or if you prefer you could take a day trip to Doolin and explore the Cliffs of Moher. There are endless opportunities, explore Connemara for a day, Galway City or take in the other Islands of Inis Mór and Inis Meain. There are lovely scenic and archaeological sights around the island, which date back to the Stone Age. The island is a popular tourist spot and as many love to explore the amazing sights such as the Plassey Shipwreck, the underground chapel and many more. People also love to go on bike rides or walks to enjoy the views to be had across the Atlantic ocean.
