Description
We are a little farm in the great landscape of the Jura mountains in the west of Switzerland. We are situated in an old train station surrounded by meadows and forests with free running horses and cows in summertime. In the wintertime the landscape transforms into a winter wonderland and popular cross-country skiing area. Our little guesthouse hosts guests who come looking for a peacefull setting for their vacation or seminars.
This is a place surrounded by nature and animals. We have a garden where we apply the permaculture style and implement the permaculture philosophy in our daily lifestyle.
We are accompanied by chickens, cats and four wonderful horses which are our best trainers in personal development.Types of help and learning opportunities

Cultural exchange and learning opportunities
We are living in the french speaking part of Switzerland. We try to speak french as much as possible - but as we are a multicultural place we speak many different languages. We are happy to introduce you to the Swiss culture. You can learn about permaculture, horses, animals, cooking, house maintenance, herbs, natural products production.
We also provide space and time for people wanting to create art.Help
For the spring time we are still looking for a volunteer who wants to join our little team of 1-2 people and can stay with us for a few months. Our place greatly benefits from someone calm who enjoys a small community setting and likes to be on there own. It is perfect to come back to yourself and unwind, be creative (working on your art project) and have the occassional philosophical exchange at diner :)
These are the jobs we need help with:
preparing the garden for spring and summer, cutting wood, restocking the wood to make fire, cleaning the stables, caring for the horses, chickens and cats, snowshoveling etc. You would also help in taking care of the household by cooking, cleaning, maintenance etc.
Feel free to ask us any questions you might have.Languages spoken

What else ...
You can reach us by car or train. The station and the stop is only on request (press the button before arriving).
Nearby you can find wonderful forests, little lakes, wild rivers and a lot of hiking trails. The French border is very close for a short excursion to the wild part of France. There are lakes and nice cities also not very far from our farm.A little more information
