Also maintenance and construction is needed.
Accomodation, work and food depends of the period. For June and July we might have projects to work on together or simply need help with animal care and gardening,
Also a little help in return of accomodation with kitchen is possible.

💮 URBAN CREATIVE FARMING CALL / April-Sept in Umbria!
We are a family living between Umbria and South Tyrol. At the moment our propriety in Foligno is our base for traveling and working, also in other lands. We just renovated the house and there is a lot to do all around and inside, and a lot has been done already thanks to the support of a larger, amazing, family. Spring is beautiful in Umbria, we're really excited to experiment new things in the garden, atelier and lab.
If you have permaculture projects, ideas or experiments you would like to develop contact us it might be the right place and moment! Our garden needs some love, there's a watering system connected to the roof and as you can see in the pictures the idea of a double circle field, already connected with tubes to the watering system, covered by a dome of bamboo. There are some great projects already started but they can be developed, we would love to create more space for medical herbs, create a little geodetic dome and an earth oven for example. Experts of fermentation or natural medicine and cosmetics or plant dyes are also welcome.
Unexperienced but joyful humans are also very welcome, please contact us if you feel it's calling you.

You can live in the historical centre of beautiful Foligno, perfect place to explore the surroundings, like Assisi, Montefalco, Perugia, Spello, Trevi. There is a beautiful mountain, Pale, for climbers, 10 min by car from here and mountain bikers will also find a lot of trails all around. Nearby villages and towns can by visited by public transports

We are looking for help with our garden, art projects, house maintenance like painting wood, iron, or building with recycled wood. If you want to experiment something with eco-building, maybe it's the perfect place for you! We love visionary and crazy ideas.

Accommodation
You will have a private room and access to all the house. At the moment we have a room for yoga and free space. You will work max 4 hours a day so consider the possibility to have your own project to develop or extra plans.
Simple breakfast and lunch are included, our diet is vegetarian and really connected to the seasonal and local products, but you can always use the kitchen and fridge and Foligno is an amazing place to discover italian special food.

visit beautiful Umbria! Consider that you can also go to Rome or Florence in a day, by train
