    Description

Hello! We are a private shelter providing a safe haven for several hundred dogs. All of these dogs have come to us because they have been abused, neglected, or abandoned. This shelter is non profit and relies 100% on donations and volunteer support.

This is a very busy place and a lot happens everyday, volunteers must be prepared to work at any time of the day (except on your day off, of course). We are looking for people who can work as part of a team, but are also happy to take initiative and work well by themselves.

We are looking for people who are animal lovers and aren't afraid of getting their hands (and everything else) dirty. The facilities at the shelter are minimal as our main focus is on the care of the dogs, while we can't give you a 5* stay, we can promise you a life changing experience!

** We are particularly interested in people who have experience in the following fields:
    - Veterinary care
    - Building and maintenance (electricity, metal, woodwork, water systems)
    - Animal care

We also welcome people who are interested in developing their skills in any of the above.
