    Description

Hi! We are Natalia and Marcin.
We both work remotely (in digital marketing and IT). Our ultimate life goal is to visit every single country in the world! Since we can't be everywhere right now, we want to bring the world to us by hosting amazing people. We love exchanging travel stories, practicing languages, and building connections. We are always open to visiting our guests in their home countries in the future!

Our home & lifestyle in Italy
We live in the beautiful, sunny coastal town of Scalea in Calabria. Our apartment is designed in a creative "jungle loft" style and is filled with a huge collection of beautiful plants (which we might need a little help watering!). Soon, an adorable English Cocker Spaniel puppy will also be joining our family.

    What we love doing
We absolutely love sports, maintaining an active lifestyle with rollerblading and outdoor trips. In the evenings, we enjoy going out to explore the town, finding new local pizza places, or taking a swim in the sea. We are also planning to start dance classes soon! We follow a strictly vegetarian diet and would love to discover new meatless recipes with you.

When we stay in, we love to chill on our private terrace (solarium). We often organize BBQs or set up outdoor movie projections with a beautiful sea view (we are huge fans of complex psychological thrillers and sci-fi movies and anime!).

    Cultural exchange and learning opportunities

What we can share with you:
We relocated to Italy from Poland, so we can offer a unique mix of both cultures! We would love to show you the local Italian lifestyle in Scalea, take you to our favorite hidden pizza spots, and share our experiences about moving abroad and working remotely as digital nomads.

    Language exchange:
We speak Polish and English, and we also know some Italian and Spanish. We are more than happy to help you practice any of these languages while chilling on our terrace or taking a walk by the sea!

    What we hope to learn:
We would absolutely love to hear stories about your home country and learn some phrases in your native language. Since we love food, teaching each other traditional recipes (especially vegetarian ones!) would be amazing. Our main goal is to build genuine, long-lasting friendships with people from all over the world.

  • Help

    Help

    What we need help with:
We are looking for cultural exchange, sharing experiences, and companionship rather than hard work! Your main task would simply be helping us from time to time with watering and caring for our large collection of plants.

Other than that, there are no heavy chores. We just want to spend quality time together. We would love to share language practice, exchange travel stories, and learn about your culture. We can cook our vegetarian meals together, hang out on our terrace, and just enjoy the local Italian lifestyle.

The environment here is very relaxed, so you will have plenty of free time to explore the beaches, swim in the sea, and enjoy the town!

We would love to help you practice English or Polish, and it would be amazing if you could teach us some fun phrases in your native language while we hang out!

  • Accommodation

    Accommodation

    Accommodation:
You will stay in a room equipped with a large bunk bed featuring two comfortable double mattresses. The rest of our apartment in Scalea is designed in a unique "jungle loft" style. The space features industrial concrete wall finishes, matte black fixtures, gold-brushed metal accents, and is filled with our large collection of beautiful Mediterranean plants! You will also have full access to our private terrace (solarium) with amazing sea views, where we love to spend our evenings.

    Food:
Our kitchen and the meals we prepare are strictly vegetarian. We will happily share our delicious meat-free meals with you, or organize vegetarian BBQs on our terrace! You are welcome to buy your own extra groceries, but as a vegetarian household, we kindly ask that our kitchen remains a meat-free zone. Thank you for understanding!

House Rules & Good to Know:
Remote Work: We both work from home during the week. We love hanging out, but we do need some quiet time during the day when we have video calls.
Shared Spaces: We just ask for basic common sense – please clean up after yourself in the kitchen and keep the bathroom tidy.
Smoking Policy: We are non-smokers. Strictly no smoking inside the apartment or on the balcony. If you need to smoke, please use our upper terrace only.
Location & Getting Around: We live on a hill, about a 20-minute walk from the town center (buses are also available). However, our immediate neighborhood already has plenty of great pizzerias, bakeries, and shops! Whenever we are driving to the center, we are always happy to give you a ride.
Neighborhood: Just a quick heads-up: there is a nightclub nearby which is mostly active during the summer season, so the area can get a bit lively on summer nights.

For Digital Nomads: Since we both work remotely full-time in IT and digital marketing, our home is very friendly to digital nomads! We have a reliable internet connection, and because the help we ask for takes very little time (just a few simple daily chores like watering plants or taking out the trash), you will have plenty of uninterrupted time during the day to focus on your own work. We completely understand the remote work lifestyle – we just ask that we respect each other's focus hours and keep things quiet when someone is on a video call.
